Mubarak Al Malik is a Qatari visual artist known for his large-scale public murals and community-driven artistic collaborations. Working primarily with paint, mixed media, and ceramics, his practice explores national identity, cultural memory, and social dialogue through vibrant visual storytelling in public spaces.
Over the past decade, Al Malik has contributed significantly to Qatar’s contemporary art scene, creating landmark murals across Doha and internationally—from stadiums and metro stations to global cultural events. His work has been commissioned by institutions including Qatar Museums, the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, Qatar Foundation, and international partners in Miami, Rio de Janeiro, Moscow, and Kuwait.
Al Malik has participated in numerous exhibitions such as Source with al markhiya gallery (2022), 50x50 at Fire Station: Artist in Residence (2020), and the First Contemporary Qatari Ceramics Exhibition (2015). His recent projects include collaborative murals with Argentine artist Martín Ron, and commissions for Qatar Academy and HSBC’s 70th anniversary in Qatar.
