Between Form and Flow, 2026
Sarah Al Naimi is a multidisciplinary artist and designer based in Qatar, working with Arabic typography, storytelling, and traditional craft. Inspired by classical Arabic literature and poetry, she transforms texts into visual works through block printing, embroidery, and pixel-based illustration.
Al Naimi's practice is hands on, and process driven. She carves woodblocks, handprints fabric, and experiments with materials to explore memory, heritage, and language. A VCUArts Qatar alumna, she develops projects that connect the past and present from celestial inspired workshops to large scale tapestries aiming to preserve beauty and offer fresh ways of seeing the familiar.
